Overview

You may encounter an issue where you are unable to connect to the Firstrain backend through API, and getting an error message like this:

backend.errorCode: 500
backend.errorMessage: Something is not working. Please ask the FirstRain team to investigate.

Solution

It is possible that this is caused by an outage affecting FirstRain. To verify this, visit the Status page.

If further assistance is required, please create a support ticket.

<supportagent>In addition to the status page, check the Central DB Outages Gchat for information on any reported outages. To join, go to Spaces in Gmail, then click on the + symbol ("Create or find a space"), then Browse spaces, and join the Central DB Outages space (careful - not the one marked "deprecated").
