Overview
You may need to change the email address for a user account so that daily emails with news and insights are sent to the new mailbox.
Solution
- To change an email for your account, follow the steps below:
- From the FirstRain app, click on your name and select Account Settings.
- In the Send Email Briefs to Different Address field, enter the desired email address.
- Click Save Changes.
Once your email address is updated, the following message should be displayed at the top of the page:
Account settings updated successfully.
- From the FirstRain app, click on your name and select Account Settings.
- To update email for another user account as Administrator, follow the steps below:
- Open the Administration section.
- Find the required account using their previous email or name.
- Click Actions and select Edit.
- Enter the new email address for the user and click Update.
The following message will be displayed at the top of the page:
User updated successfully.
Note: This action will change only the email address used to send daily emails. The username of the account will remain the same as the previously used email - it can be changed only by the FirstRain support team.
- Open the Administration section.
