Overview
There could be issues with your FirstRain delivered content's latency and quality. You could be receiving slightly delayed news or the news has a headline but the body is missing.
Solution
The reason for content latency could be that FirstRain feed files are not uploaded to the FTP (ftps.firstrain.com
) according to the normal schedule.
Normally, when experiencing continuity issues with the doc stream, when the outage is fixed, the articles that are missed are automatically back-filled and attempts are made for minimal data loss.
Please reach out to FirstRain support to investigate and fix content delivery and quality issues, describing when the issue started.

One of the possible root causes for this issue is that the server is busy with the Solr Indexing process, delaying the delivery of files to the FTP. File delivery schedules can differ for various customers.
SaaS team is responsible for checking on Solr indexing and troubleshooting issues with delivering content to clients.
If it isn't, you should make this a Sev-1 Scenario and then elevate the case to the SaaS team as a Showstopper to investigate and resolve the case.
Once the issue is resolved, SaaS should provide proof that the latest files were processed, ask the customer to confirm that all files were delivered; support agents do not have access to the FirstRain FTP.
