The Explore Search

Overview

After executing a search, you can choose the Explore option to enhance your search with the following aspects:

  • Trending Phrases of the Moment

  • Intersecting Companies and Topics (a BETA feature)
  • Closely Related Companies and Topics

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the Explore search feature and explains how you can switch between the available views.

 

Process

  1. Click on the Search option located below your name in the left sidebar.

  2. Enter your request in the search bar.

  3. Once you have the search results, click on the Explore button.

Switching Between the Views


The Explore button has the following three views, and you can switch between them using the buttons on the right side of the screen:

  • Trending Phrases
  • Intersections Explorer (BETA)
  • Related Searches

  • Trending Phrases

    • Trending Phrases can be found by selecting the scattered bar icon.

    • A word cloud summarizes the key topics and phrases associated with your search term.
    • Each phrase is clickable to modify the articles you receive.

  • Intersections Explorer (BETA)


    • You can access the Intersections Explorer view by selecting the circular icon. This visualization presents the overlaps made by top companies and trending topics with your search term.

    • The explorer is interactive, providing additional information as you hover over or click on different pieces.

  • Related Searches


    • The Related Searches view is indicated by the three-bar icon.

    • This view includes the following:
      • Competitors
      • Related Companies
      • Related Topics
    • You can select the required options from these recommendations for additional articles and information.
